Global Granite & Marble is proud to announce the recent Marble Institute of America (MIA) CEU Instructor certification of Sam Koontz, Director of Global Architectural Products; Caleb Flanagan, Architectural Representative; Jennifer Steward, Design and Sales Representative; and Alisha Deatrick, Architectual and Design Representative in Louisville, Kentucky.
Certification as an MIA-approved CEU Instructor provides an invaluable resource to designers, architects, and other members of the design community to ensure top quality continuing education in natural stone materials, applications, and considerations in designing with stone.
Feb 24 2010: Customer Service Department
Global Granite & Marble is proud to announce the creation of our Customer Service Department in St. Louis. This department is focused on streamlining and improving the quality of service for our St. Louis homeowners and customers, from scheduling showroom appointments to selling slab and tile materials for our fabricators and tile installers.
Our Customer Service Representatives in St. Louis are Stasia Cochrum and Judy Baughman. Stasia joined Global in September, 2004, as a Customer Service Representative for our Tile Warehouse team, and has extensively supported Global in tile, tools, and slab warehouse operations. Judy joined Global in February, 2009 and has extensive experience in phone sales and customer service within the travel industry.

In keeping with our commitment to providing our clientele with premiere green product offerings, Global Granite & Marble announces that Vermont Danby Quarries achieved GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality and GreenGuard Children & Schools (SM) certification for their complete line of marble. In addition, Vermont Danby marble qualifies for LEED Certification Credit 7.1 – Heat Island Effect, Non-Roof.
